아서 비숍(Jason Statham)은 미국 정부의 의뢰를 받고 기술자(메카닉)로 불릴 정도로
목표물을 완벽하게 제거하는 최고의 킬러이다. 어느 날 그의 멘토이자 친한 친구인 해리(도널드 서덜랜드)가 살해되는 사건이
발생하자 그의 아들 스티븐(벤 포스터)이 아서를 찾아와 아버지에 대한 복수를 하겠다며 그에게 최고의 암살 기술을 가르쳐
달라고한다. 그렇게 한 팀이 되어 사건을 해결하고 우정을 쌓아 나가지만 죽여야 할 대상이 적이 아닌 자신들이 되면서 알수 없는
위험에 빠지는데…
비숍이 첫번째 악당을 처치하고 집으로 돌아와 하는 첫번째가 오디오를 켜고 LP를 듣는 것이었다.
이 영화에서 Turntable은 여러가지 복선을 암시하게 되는데 결국 마지막에 아지트인 집을 불태워 없애는 부비트랩이 된다.
이 Turntable에 주목해 보면 Pro-Ject(
www.project-audio.com) 사의 RPM 9.2 Evolution 이다. Pro-Ject Audio System은 턴테이블 전문 생산회사로서, 합리적인 가격 대비 큰 만족감을 선사하는 제품을 만들기로 유명하다. 이 제품도 250만원선에서 가격이 책정되어 있다.

A quiet running AC motor with a two-step pulley drives the platter's outside edge via a belt.
The medium density fibre plinth rests on three individually height-adjustable magnetic field feet.
A supplied spirit level allows easy adjustment. Granulate filled plinth guarantees constant damping.
The motor is mounted in a separate metal housing to eliminate vibration transmission.
The resonance-optimised platter is a sandwich construction utilising an acrylic platter weighing 3,5Kg and a brass record puck.
The inverted bearing uses a stainless-steel axle carrying a ceramic ball on which the ceramic bearing plate runs.
Central metal block optimises centre of gravity and damps main bearing.
Connection to the phono input of the amplifier can be made with connecting cables of your taste through the gold plated phono sockets and earth screw. A standard cable is provided.
External power supply avoids potential electro-mechanical interference.
Tonearm Pro-Ject 9cc Evolution
The headshell and armtube are fashioned from a single piece of carbon-fibre.
Conical armtube avoids standing wave reflections.
Inverted tonearm bearing comprises four hardened stainless tips in ABEC7 spec ballraces.

Sorbothane®-damped counterweight effectively counteracts unwanted resonances.

Counterweight shaft lowered to record level reduces cantilever forces and dynamic wow when playing warped records.
Solid armbase permits accurate height adjustment of armtube and VTA (vertical tracing angle).
Single-screw fixing of armtube allows rotation for easy adjustment of needle azimuth despite fixed headshell.
Silicone-damped armlift can be adjusted to suit working height of the arm.
The internal wiring consists of flexible high-purity copper from the headshell right through to the gold-plated
phono sockets.
